The nature park of Sierra Helada will provide you with some wonderful walks and scenery with its dramatice cliffs and rocky inlets. Some of these treasured areas can only be reached via a foot path or from the sea. Life in Benidorm is not restricted to parties and outings with to the wonderful theme parks and Benidorm Palace shows, it is a town surrounded by natural beauty that many visitors never notice exsist.
Benidorm - Finestrat
Nextdoor to Benidorm you can experience a perfect combination when you Buy a home in Finestrat with easy access to Benidorm with its theme parks and night clubs although enjoying your home life among the mountains, golf courses and gorgeous beaches. There are some truly lovely small coves to be explored between Finestrat and Benidorm including Cala Tio Ximo with its shallow, clear waters or retreat and relax to Cala Almadraba and then there is also La Cala de Finistrat which may be a little busier but is child friendly so perhaps better for a family day out.
Finestrat - Villajoyosa

This town is also well known for its pretty, coloured townhouses lining the beach Playa del Torres. Raco del Conill is considered to be one of the best naturist beaches in the area and is accessible by a road leading to a small car park followed by walkways so that the location is very private. The cliff lined rocky bay of Cala Fonda can be difficult access but is well worth it and very private. Closer to Villajoyosa’s main beach is Playa del Tio Roig which is usually quiet as well as the beaches of Playa del Tio Roig and Playa de los Estudiantes are popular with locals, these are gravelly pebbly beaches so not for sandcastle enthusiasts. There are many, many more wonderful places to explore for those who live in Villajoyosa.

Where ever you choose to visit when you buy a home in the Costa Blanca make sure you are prepared with water shoes because many of these smaller beaches are pebbly and rocky. The sea breaze may fool you so stay hydrated and take a good supply of water, snacks, use a high-factor sun-screen and replnish this often and take a beach parasol with you too. The fitness level requied for accessing these beaches on foot do vary so make enquiries and choose the escape is suitable for you, some may only be reached by steep paths or long uneven steps. The best times to really benefit from your day out is early in the morning or late into the afternoon and early evening and don’t forget to collect all your belongings and any litter before returning home.
